The fabulous YouTube clip of Jazz at the Philharmonic greats -- including Gene Krupa, J.C. Heard, Flip Phillips, Lester Young, Ella, Oscar and the rest--is now on DVD and available via JazzLegends.com. Also on the program, which we've called BennyTube, are the two rare YouTube clips of Benny Goodman, Gene and Jess Stacey on a Peggy Lee TV special from the late 1950s, a clip from the "other" Swing into Spring TV special with BG and Red Norvo, and the original theatrical trailer in color to "The Benny Goodman Story." It was not easy getting this stuff on disc, but it is well, well worth it, and the quality surpasses anything seen on YouTube or its clones. -- Bruce Klauber
