This is very easy to answer! Gene is not the drummer on this recording,and it is Ben Pollack. The best discography in my opinion is probably the one that Russ Connor produced, and is a must for Gene fans. Gene's first association with BG recording...

I always enjoy your videos. This one was delightful. Wish I could remember where I first heard this number. I have it in my head that perhaps I heard it on a Jackie Gleason show...then maybe I heard Red Nichols perform it on a variety show. Just can't remember...but I do know that it was one of those traditional songs that I fell in love with as a very young kid. Hope I can return to England at some point, meet you, and hear you perform life. You are doing a lot to keep the spirit of Gene, Benny, and traditional jazz before us. It is wonderful!!! Keep up the good work.
